Walter Mularz
“Red Rocks, Thailand” (photograph)
Walter Mularz, a long-time award-winning fine art photographer, brings his unique perspective to the natural world in New England as well as to the many other places he has traveled in the U.S. and abroad.
He has earned a certificate of photographic accomplishment from the New York Institute of Photography.
His photos have been juried into many shows including the Boothbay (ME) Region Art Foundation, www.maineartscene.com; and the Salem (MA) Art Festival. His wide-ranging awards include the Nikon International Photo Contest; Boston Globe magazine; Newburyport (MA) Art Association; the National Wildlife Refuge at Plum Island; and Rangeley (ME) Art in the Park.
Artist Statement:
“My first love is to photograph the outdoors, whether in New England or in faraway places, especially memorable scenic views and close-ups. In addition, I enjoy enhancing the picture through digital technology, to be creative in presenting my artistic expressions.”
