Chef/Owner Jim Rogers is a Newburyport native and longtime resident. He began his culinary career at Scandia restaurant and shortly after, graduated with a Culinary Degree from Newbury College.
Upon graduation, Jim found himself in increasingly responsible roles at notable restaurants and resorts including Boston’s five-star L’Espalier, L’Ostello Hotel and Restaurant in Vail, and Savoir-Faire on Martha’s Vineyard. He has also worked as VP of Operations for Joseph’s Gourmet Pasta allowing him to travel throughout Italy and perfect recipes for the company’s gourmet food line. Prior to opening Andiamo Restaurant + Bar, Jim was Executive Chef at Tuscan Kitchen in Salem, NH.
