Artist Statement:
“I love live music. I love photography.
When attending live music events, I enjoy the performances more when listening to it through my camera lens. There is no right or wrong when it comes to who we like to listen to or watch perform, it resonates differently for all us. The piece of music does not change, we are the ones who change as we get older. An artist or a song may accompany us our entire lives or only part of the way. However long and in whatever fashion you enjoy music…..get out there. Listen. Watch. Feel.
There is music everywhere. I try to capture an image that will bring any fan back to that instant where sight, sound and emotion merge into something greater than the photo itself.” (Rocco Coviello)
