The Newburyport Documentary Film Festival is set to be held online and in person this year in September.
For over 15 years, organizers have been bringing the highest caliber documentary films to our community. In addition to the weekend screenings online and (when able) at historic venues, they also hold filmmaker receptions, after-parties, panel discussions, Q&As, and workshops.
There are a wide array of films this year to satisfy every possible taste. Follow these emerging directors and producers as they dive into some of the important matters which are relevant to our times.
Past films have gone on to win accolades and awards at larger shows and also at national award ceremonies.
