If you have grown up on the North Shore of Massachusetts you have probably visited Russell Farm on the way to Crane’s Beach. This area of New England is very distinctive for its rolling green hills leading through extended marsh area and ending at the Atlantic.
Since 1920 this has been a storied working farm that has found the right combination of style, substance and activities. The Russell’s are the third family to own and operate the orchard and part of it is protected by the Essex Greenbelt Association. They have recently been nominated as one of the ” 1000 Great Places to visit in Massachusetts.”
